Strength Through Resilience

When a natural disaster or emergency strikes, California fairgrounds and venues are on the frontlines of helping our local communities recover. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our fairgrounds and venues played a critical role by providing communities with vaccination sites, testing, and other vital public health services.

Over the years, during historic wildfires and other major disasters that displaced thousands of residents, California fairgrounds and venues have routinely stepped up to aid our local communities with shelter and serve as a central hub for emergency response.
