Napa Valley Expo

Napa, CA
The Napa Valley Exposition, situated in downtown Napa, serves as a distinct venue amidst California’s most iconic wine region and tourist destination. The Expo plays a vital role as a community hub. In times of celebration and crisis for more than ninety years, the Expo has hosted a multitude of events and is currently home to the World-Famous BottleRock Music Festival, the inaugural La Onda Music Festival, a beautiful RV Park, the County’s largest clear span multi-purpose building and the annual Napa Town and Country Fair. The Expo has also been frequently used as an emergency response and evacuation center.
In recent years the County of Napa has experienced an unprecedented string of disasters and emergencies, from massive flooding (2005), a devastating earthquake (2014), wildfires (2017,2018,2020), and most recently the COVID-19 pandemic, the community has endured and recovered with the help of the the Expo. From evacuation and reunification centers, Fire Camps, a resource services hub, an emergency hospital, and vaccination clinic the Expo has been the center of the community’s resiliency and recovery efforts.
Annually the Expo partners with non-profit organizations and local trade associations to host a communitywide Fire Resources Fair, featuring a combination of wildfire mitigation, prevention, preparedness, resiliency, insurance, and recovery services resources all in one place. Other annual activities and events held at the Expo, that contribute to community preparedness and resiliency include CalFire led Firefighter and Fire Marshall continuing education training, K-9 training and certification, PG&E response team staging as well as fundraising and education events ranging from Farm Bureau Ag Day to relief organization recognition and awards dinners.
