The
Napa Valley Exposition, situated in downtown Napa, serves as a distinct venue amidst California’s most iconic wine region and tourist destination. The Expo plays a vital role as a community hub. In times of celebration and crisis for more than ninety years, the Expo has hosted a multitude of events and is currently home to the World-Famous BottleRock Music Festival, the inaugural La Onda Music Festival, a beautiful RV Park, the County’s largest clear span multi-purpose building and the annual Napa Town and Country Fair. The Expo has also been frequently used as an emergency response and evacuation center.
In recent years the County of Napa has experienced an unprecedented string of disasters and emergencies, from massive flooding (2005), a devastating earthquake (2014), wildfires (2017,2018,2020), and most recently the COVID-19 pandemic, the community has endured and recovered with the help of the the Expo. From evacuation and reunification centers, Fire Camps, a resource services hub, an emergency hospital, and vaccination clinic the Expo has been the center of the community’s resiliency and recovery efforts.
